Our team of highly trained carers are here to take care of all of your live-in care needs:
Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Helping the individual move around the home or providing support with walking and transfers (e.g. from bed to wheelchair).
Ensuring the person takes their prescribed medications correctly and on time, sometimes including assistance with organizing pills or administering medications.
Helping to create a shopping list, assist with purchasing groceries, or even take the individual to the store. In some cases, they may also help with online shopping if the person is unable to do so themselves.
Preparing nutritious meals and helping with assisted feeding if needed.
Assisting with light cleaning, laundry, and other household chores.
Besides grocery shopping, they might assist with other errands like picking up prescriptions, purchasing household items, or handling other necessary tasks.
Some of our carers attend hospital or medical appointments with the individual, offering emotional support, helping to remember medical instructions, and ensuring that any necessary information is understood.
After medical appointments, carers may help follow any prescribed care plans or instructions from healthcare providers, including helping with recovery or administering post-treatment care.
Offering social interaction, which is important for mental and emotional well-being, especially for those who may feel isolated.
Observing changes in the person’s condition, reporting any concerns to healthcare providers, and possibly assisting with physiotherapy or exercise routines.
Providing support to individuals who need assistance overnight. Including assistance with bedtime routines, medication management, safety checks, health monitoring, and emergency response.
Only a small portion of carer applications are accepted into our books.
We thoroughly review each application, checking qualifications, experience, and commitment. Only those meeting our strict standards move forward.
We conduct enhanced DBS checks and verify right-to-work documents to ensure carers meet legal and safeguarding requirements.
Each carer attends a face-to-face interview where we assess soft skills, empathy and professionalism.
We evaluate care skills and knowledge, including moving, medication handling, and infection control practices.
We contact past employers to confirm reliability, performance, and other key insights into the carer’s conduct.
After selection, we ensure carers complete any new additional training to comply with our rigorous standards.
