Our Hendon carers live locally. They know Brent Street, the streets either side of Hendon Central, and how much of a difference it makes to have someone who is not fighting their way across the A41 to get to you - so care feels familiar from the first visit rather than like a stranger arriving at the door.
We have supported families across NW4 for over thirty years, from an hour of help each morning to a live-in carer providing round-the-clock support. Whatever the arrangement, we match you with someone suited to your routines, your household and your personality.
Your care manager is based nearby and visits in person. If things need to change - more hours, a different carer, or cover at short notice - there is someone local who can arrange it.
Round-the-clock support from a carer who lives in your home.
Flexible visits for help with daily tasks, from an hour to several a day.
Specialist, patient support for those living with dementia.
Short-term cover so family carers can rest and recharge.
Our team of highly trained carers are here to take care of everyday needs at home:

Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Helping the individual move around the home or providing support with walking and transfers (e.g. from bed to wheelchair).

Ensuring the person takes their prescribed medications correctly and on time, sometimes including assistance with organizing pills or administering medications.

Helping to create a shopping list, assist with purchasing groceries, or even take the individual to the store. In some cases, they may also help with online shopping if the person is unable to do so themselves.

Preparing nutritious meals and helping with assisted feeding if needed.

Assisting with light cleaning, laundry, and other household chores.

Besides grocery shopping, they might assist with other errands like picking up prescriptions, purchasing household items, or handling other necessary tasks.

Some of our carers attend hospital or medical appointments with the individual, offering emotional support, helping to remember medical instructions, and ensuring that any necessary information is understood.

After medical appointments, carers may help follow any prescribed care plans or instructions from healthcare providers, including helping with recovery or administering post-treatment care.

Offering social interaction, which is important for mental and emotional well-being, especially for those who may feel isolated.

Observing changes in the person’s condition, reporting any concerns to healthcare providers, and possibly assisting with physiotherapy or exercise routines.

Providing support to individuals who need assistance overnight. Including assistance with bedtime routines, medication management, safety checks, health monitoring, and emergency response.

We will come out and visit you at home to conduct an initial assessment.

Only a small portion of carer applications are accepted into our books.
We thoroughly review each application, checking qualifications, experience, and commitment. Only those meeting our strict standards move forward.
We conduct enhanced DBS checks and verify right-to-work documents to ensure carers meet legal and safeguarding requirements.
Each carer attends a face-to-face interview where we assess soft skills, empathy and professionalism.
We evaluate care skills and knowledge, including moving, medication handling, and infection control practices.
We contact past employers to confirm reliability, performance, and other key insights into the carer’s conduct.
After selection, we ensure carers complete any new additional training to comply with our rigorous standards.
Most families are matched with a local carer and start within a few days of their free assessment. Where a hospital discharge or a sudden change at home means care is needed sooner, we can usually arrange cover within 24 to 48 hours.
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons families call us. Discharge dates often move at short notice, so we work directly with the discharge team and can usually have a carer in place for the day you come home, including same-day and weekend starts.
Yes. We build a small, consistent team around each client rather than sending whoever happens to be free, because continuity is what turns care into a relationship rather than a rota. You meet your carer before care begins, and if the match is not right we will change it.
Your care manager can adjust the plan at any time: more hours, fewer hours, a different carer, or a pause while family are visiting. There is no penalty for changing your mind and no long notice period to work around.
A local care manager will visit at home, at no cost and no obligation, to talk through what is needed.
