Jessica Lazarus

Jessica brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as Clinical Lead at Care a la Carte. With a strong foundation in both the NHS and private healthcare sectors, she specialises in neuro-rehabilitation, geriatric physiotherapy, and complex musculoskeletal care.

Jessica graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 2014. She completed a year of community service in a township clinic in Johannesburg, where she was responsible for managing a facility with extremely limited resources. This experience thrust her into challenging clinical situations, requiring her to be resourceful, adaptable, and clinically versatile. During this time, she treated a wide range of neurological and neuromuscular conditions and developed sustainable, personalised rehabilitation plans for her patients.

With roots in the UK, Jessica was determined to move to Britain to further her career and contribute to the NHS—a system she deeply admires for its commitment to healthcare as a human right. She began her UK journey at the Whittington Trust, where she worked across various departments, including neurology, elderly rehabilitation, and complex care. She treated patients with conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis, and developed a particular passion for supporting older adults in regaining their independence. During her time in the Whittington Reablement Team, she felt inspired by the holistic and person-centred approach of caring for the elderly within their own homes.

Jessica’s ambition and drive led her into the private sector, where she continued to refine her expertise at a Northwest London clinic before moving to the renowned Harley Street. There, she broadened her scope to include musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, surgical rehabilitation, and complex pain disorders. She has developed specialist skills in managing neck pain and headaches, occupational-related back and neck issues, and both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Today, Jessica brings her rich and diverse experience to Care a la Carte, where she plays a key role in ensuring clinical excellence across the organisation. Her deep understanding of both the physical and emotional needs of clients informs her approach to care—always compassionate, always person-centred. With her leadership, Care a la Carte continues to provide exceptional, tailored support that helps people thrive in the comfort of their own homes.
